Vehicle washing, when performed incorrectly, can lead to severe scratching, swirling or “spider webbing” and premature clear coat failure. Car wash tunnels are a popular option for daily drivers with cheap pricing and fast service, but unfortunately use harsh detergents and stiff brushes to do the job. Over time, vehicles that are washed improperly or taken through car wash tunnels develop significant paint defects and become a candidate for our paint correction service, to restore the gloss and shine to the paint. The harsh detergents used in modern car washes strip your exterior of any protection and eat into the clear coat. Stiff car wash brushes see hundreds to thousands of vehicles per day and accumulate massive amounts of dirt being grinded into your vehicle’s exterior surfaces.

Do you come to me?
Yes, we’re mobile-based so we clean clean the exterior at your home, apartment, or work location. We service the Greater Raleigh area and surrounding areas like Wake Forest, Cary, Garner, Apex, Clayton, Forestville, Youngsville, Louisburg and more…
What kind of wax do you use?
We have a few brands we use like Meguiar’s, P&S, and Gtechniq. So it comes down to what we’re working on and what we decide is best fitting. Our go-to choice is a SiO2 based professional sealant spray that will last a few months on your vehicle. If you are looking for upgraded protection, we have other options available, as well as ceramic coatings.
How long will the wax last?
It’s all depends how you store your car. If it’s garaged at work and at home 80% of the time, then it can last between 3-4 months. If you have your car sitting out in the sun, cold, and rain 100% of the time, then it is more realistic to expect 1-2 months.
Also, if you wash your car in a car wash tunnel, or with any degreasers/dish soap, it will strip the wax coating and significantly decrease the durability on our products.
Do you need access to water?
If we’re working at your home location, then if possible, we’ll use the water spigot you have. If we’re working at an apartment or your work location, we still opt for customer water when possible but have rinseless washing methods available, safe for exteriors.
Does this remove scratches from my paint?
Applying a wax will hide the micro-light swirls and scratches in your paint. They’re essentially “filled in” with the wax which creates more shine. So technically it does hide the really light scratches, but it does not actually remove any of them.
Nonetheless, your paint will look much glossier because the wax creates a more “flat” surface and level appearance, refracting less light, resulting in a shinier appearance.

Included with all of our exterior packages is application of a Sio2 (silicone dioxide) based spray sealant. Either used as a drying aid or standalone sealant application, it reveals a brilliant luster to all applied surfaces including glass, paint and wheels. The Sio2 sealant creates a tight bond with the clear coated surfaces and leaves behind a highly durable, super slick, ultra-shiny appearance for months to come, not days. The car wash’s “hot wax” option doesn’t cut it. Get modern, long lasting protection applied by the pros.
