Two failed approaches in this market

Most detail shops in the Triangle pick one of two playbooks. Playbook one is the tunnel-wash assembly line with a "detail" tacked on. Brushes that swirl your paint, detergents that strip whatever protection was on it, a 20-minute interior wipe they're calling a full detail. Playbook two is the ceramic coating shop that quotes blindly over the phone and assigns the job to whoever's on the floor that day. The cars come out looking fine for a month. The customers find out at month four.

How we work differently

We started this because we figured your car deserved the same thinking we'd give our own. So the process is closer to how a doctor works than how a car wash works. Walk-around first, in person, at the side of the car with you. Treatment plan in writing. Cost in writing. What we'll do and what we won't. You decide. Then the work happens at your home or your office lot while you keep moving with your day. Same chemistry on every job. Same crew. No outsourcing.

Prep is the job
A ceramic coating is hardness layered on paint that has to be perfect first. Skip the wash, the iron decon, the clay, the polish, or the IPA wipedown, and the coating bonds to contamination instead of paint. Swirls show through the gloss by month six. So we run every prep step in full, every job. There isn't a fast version.

Diagnosis before quote
Ceramic coating quotes don't happen over the phone here. Paint correction quotes don't happen without a paint gauge. Walk-around is free and runs about 15 minutes. The treatment plan that follows is fixed for the scope we walked. If something new surfaces during the work, you hear about it before the polisher comes back out.

Tell the truth on ROI
If a job won't pay back, we say so. Trading in next year? Skip the ceramic. Lease return at 18 months? Wax does the job, not a 5-year coating. A good doctor recommends the cheapest treatment that solves the problem, not the most expensive one they can defend. Same idea here.

No tunnel-wash shortcuts
Hand wash. Two buckets. Grit guards. Microfiber, no sponges. pH-neutral shampoo. The slow careful way is the only way that doesn't accumulate paint damage over years. Yes, it takes longer. Yes, the quote reflects that. The other path is buying back five years of swirl marks at every wash.

Written treatment plan
Every job leaves with a written treatment plan documenting what was done. Useful at resale, for insurance, and for the next service. You get the documents at delivery. Keep them with the title.

Same standard on every job
No bait-and-switch. No "premium" upsell mid-job for the product that should have been on the quote in the first place. The quote names the scope and the deliverable. What you ordered is what gets done.
