About Mobile Detailing Doctor
We are a working detail crew based in the Raleigh area. We come to your driveway with water, power, and the gear. We do the work the way we would do it on our own cars.
Why we started this
Most detail shops in the Raleigh area run one of two models. The first is the assembly-line tunnel wash with a "detail" tacked on — brushes, harsh detergents, and a 20-minute interior wipe-down they call a full detail. The second is the ceramic coating shop that quotes a $2,000 job over the phone without ever seeing the car.
Neither approach respects the car or the customer. We started Mobile Detailing Doctor because our cars deserve better than that, and we figured yours do too.
How we work
Our process is closer to how a doctor works than how a car wash works. Every job starts with a real walk-around — we look at the paint, the interior, the wheels, what is actually there. We write a treatment plan with what we will do, what we will not do, and what it costs. You decide. Then we do the work, hand-correct any defects, and protect the finish so it actually lasts.
The diagnosis is free. The treatment plan is in writing. The work happens at your home or office while you keep your day moving.

Prep is the job
A ceramic coating is hardness layered on paint that has to be perfect first. If we cut corners on prep, you see the swirl marks through the coating in six months. The prep is where the work is.

Tell the truth
If a job will not give you a return, we say so. Trade-in next year? Skip the ceramic. We will not sell you protection you do not need.

Real warranties
Our ceramic coatings and PPF installs come with a written warranty. Stays with the vehicle. Transfers on resale.

No tunnel wash shortcuts
Hand wash. Two buckets. Grit guards. Microfiber, not sponges. The slow way is the only way that does not damage paint.

Where we work
We dispatch from our Raleigh base across the Raleigh area. Same-week booking standard, same-day available on some routes. Service area runs from Raleigh to Chapel Hill and out to Wendell, Clayton, and Fuquay-Varina.
