How soon can you wash a car after ceramic coating?

7 days minimum before any water contact. 30 days before any wax, sealant, or quick detailer on top. The 7-day window is for the coating to fully cure into the clear coat.

Skip your usual car wash routine during the 7-day cure. Especially skip tunnel washes. Alkaline detergents in the wash chemicals will strip uncured ceramic coating.

What if it rains?

Light rain after 24 hours is fine. Heavy rain in the first 24 hours can leave water spots in the curing coating. We try to avoid scheduling jobs with bad weather forecasts.

When can I use a ceramic-specific maintenance spray?

30 days after application. Most ceramic boosters need cured coating below them.

When can I drive it?

Immediately. Drive away after your appointment. Water cure window is about contact with water, not driving.
