Can you detail a car in the rain or in the cold?
Rain: only interior. Sealants, waxes, and ceramic coatings need a dry surface. Cold: down to about 40°F is workable for most exterior work. Below 40°F, sealants and coatings cure unpredictably and we reschedule.
We can perform interior detailing services regardless of rain or cold weather conditions. However, exterior detailing is significantly affected by both precipitation and ambient temperature. For exterior work, temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit present

Skip exterior work in steady rain or temperatures below 40°F. Skip ceramic coating below 50°F. The cure window stretches dangerously long. Skip PPF below 55°F. Adhesion suffers.

We finish interior, pause exterior, return another day. We charge for the time worked, not the full job until it is complete.
NC winters — workable?
Most days yes. Triangle climate is generally above 40°F during the day. Polar-vortex weeks we sit it out.
Hot summer days?
Above 95°F slows us down because chemistry dries too fast. We start early and work in shade when possible.
