How do you get smoke smell out of a car?

Light smoke smell (occasional smoker): deep clean plus an ozone treatment overnight usually removes it. Heavy long-term smoke that has soaked into headliner and padding: significantly reducible but rarely 100 percent removable.

How long does an ozone treatment take?

8-12 hours overnight, then 24 hours of ventilation before driving with windows closed.

Cheaper alternative?

Spray air fresheners mask, do not remove. Charcoal bags absorb a small amount. Neither replaces the deep clean plus ozone combination.
