How long does paint protection film last?
5-10 years depending on the film, the install, the climate, and how the car is washed. TPU films in our climate average 7 years.

When to pick something else.
Pressure washing at less than 6 inches lifts edges. Tunnel wash brushes catch edges. Both shorten film life dramatically. Avoid both.

What kills PPF life?
UV (sun-parked cars), washing damage (tunnels and pressure too close), edge contamination.
Does the warranty cover yellowing?
Yes, on TPU films. PVC is not warranted against yellowing because PVC always yellows.
Can it be removed?
Yes. Within rated life, removes cleanly with heat. Past 10 years, adhesive hardens and removal gets harder.
