Detailing question

Mobile vs at-shop ceramic coating — which is better?

Get a quote →

A shop install gets climate control, dust-free environment, and infrared curing lamps — ideal for premium coatings. A mobile install in your driveway works fine for standard coatings if conditions are right: 60 to 80°F, low humidity, no rain forecast, no direct sun on the panel. For most consumer coatings (CarPro Cquartz UK 3.0, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light), mobile install is fully adequate. For top-tier coatings (Ceramic Pro, Modesta), shop install is the standard.
