What if the previous owner over-polished?

We may not be able to safely correct further. Cars with already-thin clear coat get a single-step at most, and we recommend ceramic to protect what is left.

How many corrections can a car handle?

Depends on factory thickness, but typically 4-6 correction passes over its life. Daily-driver cars usually have 3-4 left after 5-10 years.
