Every sunroof has four small drain tubes that route water out and away. Pollen, leaves, and Raleigh area tree debris clog them every year. A clogged drain backs water into the headliner and floor — repairs run thousands. Open the sunroof, find the drain holes at the corners, and pour water in. It should drain quickly under the car. If not, a flexible drain snake clears most clogs without removing trim.
