Why this exists
Most detailing shops will not give you a real price range. They quote "starting at" and let the rest land in person. We get it — every car is different. But the variance is not infinite, and the bands are knowable.
So we publish them. This page is what our jobs actually cost across the Raleigh area, updated quarterly from our own books. Use it as a benchmark when you are getting other quotes.
If a competitor's price is way under our low end, ask what they are skipping. If it is way over our high end, ask what they are adding.

How this data is gathered
- Pulled from our completed-job records each quarter
- Filtered to jobs in the Raleigh area (Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Apex, Chapel Hill, plus the smaller markets we serve)
- Low end = 10th percentile of jobs for that service
- High end = 90th percentile (we excluded the top 10% outliers like exotic-car ceramic packages on Lambos)
- Median sits roughly in the middle of the range we publish
We update this page quarterly. If you find a number that does not match what you have been quoted elsewhere, that does not mean anyone is wrong — it usually means the scope of the job is different. Always compare what is included, not just the number.
What this does NOT cover
- Show-car work — concours-level detailing on Pebble Beach candidates is a different price tier. Not represented here.
- Mechanical or body repair — paint correction is not body shop work. Dents, deep gouges, and rust repair are separate.
- Headliner replacement or interior re-trim — upholstery shop work.
- Boat and RV bottom paint — that is haul-out work and a different trade.
