Slide-out rubber seals degrade from UV, dirt, and abrasion. Clean them with mild soap and a soft cloth, then apply a dedicated rubber conditioner (303 Aerospace Protectant, Slide-out conditioner). Treat 2 to 3 times a year. Inspect for cracks, splits, and rolled-under sections monthly during use season. Failing seals leak water in storms — leading cause of RV interior damage.
