During the first 24 to 72 hours after install, small water bubbles under PPF are normal — they evaporate through the film. Persistent bubbles after a week mean trapped contamination, edge lift, or incorrect installation. Self-healing PPF will resolve heat-related distortion but not adhesion failures. If you see bubbles, photograph them and contact the installer within the warranty window.
