Order touch-up paint from the dealer using your VIN — generic universal paint never matches. Clean the chip with isopropyl alcohol. Apply paint with a fine brush in thin layers, letting each dry 24 hours. Build the chip up slightly above the surrounding surface. After full cure (5 to 7 days), wet-sand level with 2000-grit sandpaper, then polish to match the surrounding shine. Done well, the repair is nearly invisible at conversational distance.
