Is ozone treatment safe for cars?

Ozone (O3) destroys odor molecules by oxidation. It does not mask, it actually breaks them apart. Safe for the car when applied properly: vehicle empty, AC running on recirculate, 30 to 90 minute cycle, then full ventilation before re-entry. Plastics and rubber can degrade with extended exposure (4+ hours repeatedly), but a single treatment is fine. Never use ozone with a person, pet, or live plant in the vehicle.
