How do you clean and condition motorcycle leather?
Seats and bags get cleaned with pH-balanced leather cleaner, dried slowly out of the sun, and conditioned so the leather stays flexible. NC heat and UV dry bike leather out faster than car interiors because it has zero shade.
A motorcycle seat lives outside in direct sun whenever the bike does, which makes it the hardest-working leather most people own. Dried-out leather cracks at the stitch lines first, and once that starts the seat is on a countdown.
Our process: clean with a leather-safe product that lifts sweat, sunscreen, and road film without stripping the finish, let it dry in shade, then work conditioner in and buff the excess so it does not transfer to riding gear. Saddlebags and tank belts get the same treatment. Twice a season keeps leather supple through NC summers; once a season is the floor if the bike lives outdoors.
