Do you clean boat interiors and upholstery?
Yes. Marine vinyl seats, carpet, storage lockers, helm, and cup holders are all part of a full boat detail. Vinyl gets cleaned and treated with UV protectant, since dried-out vinyl is the first thing to crack on an NC boat.
Boat interiors fail from two things around here: UV drying out the vinyl and mildew finding every damp seam. Both are manageable with regular attention. On the job we clean vinyl with marine-safe products, get into the seams and stitching where the pink staining starts, wash out lockers, and finish every vinyl surface with a UV protectant.
Mildew staining on marine vinyl is its own problem. Household cleaners that promise to kill it often bleach or degrade the vinyl topcoat and void upholstery warranties. We use products made for marine vinyl and, more importantly, tell you honestly whether a stain is surface mildew we can fix or migrated staining we cannot.

Mold inside seat foam, below the vinyl surface, is a re-upholstery problem. We can clean what is on the surface and slow it down, but we will tell you straight when foam is past saving.
