Question Β· Ceramic Coating
What is graphene coating, and is it actually better than ceramic?
Graphene is a marketing term for ceramic coatings with graphene oxide additives. The real-world difference vs traditional ceramic is small. Some products are excellent. Some are repackaged ceramic with a premium price.

WHEN THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT CALL
When to pick something else.
Do not pay a 50 percent premium for graphene over a comparable ceramic unless you have a specific reason (water spot reduction, slight gloss bump). The math rarely works.
FAQS
Common follow-up questions.
Is graphene harder than ceramic?
Marginally. The hardness improvement is real but not dramatic.
Does graphene fight water spots better?
Yes, this is the strongest real-world advantage. Water beads with less spotting after the bead dries.
Worth the upgrade?
At a 20-30 percent price premium over comparable ceramic, sometimes. At 50+ percent premium, almost never.
